#scammed

A few weeks ago, my friend’s mom got scammed on a Facebook website. She was buying clothes for her son from a more expensive outdoor brand, all the clothes were on a major sale, but the website was on Facebook. She bought a little over $100 of stuff, and she didn’t realize until after that it wasn’t a trustworthy website. She also thought that she was paying with her credit card, but it paid with her PayPal, and the whole transaction was sketchy. The scam was basically just a whole thing to get your information and get your money, but they will never send you what you think you ordered. For future online shopping, be aware of what website you are actually buying from, make sure that it is the official website for that company.

That sucks, but some people in the world are not nice, always double check all the sources or reviews!
